WHAT'S BEEN SAID ,,,

It's great to get all your letters and emails after each Challenge:

“I took part in the corrieyairack yesterday; this was my first time doing the challenge. I would just like to express my thanks for a really enjoyable day. I was very impressed with the organisation of the whole event; it must be a massive undertaking to get everyone and their equipment to the right places on time, and I thought it was really well done. I was also really impressed with the pleasant attitude of all the helpers, and the support of the public cheering us on along the way. The whole event was a really memorable day, and I will definitely be back in future. (once my aching muscles have recovered!). Thank you”

“Thanks for once again organising an outstanding event  (the best I would say out of my 26 years of running event experience) which was thoroughly enjoyed, as well as endured, by all our team. Keep up the great work.”

“Honestly, can’t think of anything you could do better.  Thought it was well organised and a pleasure to be part of the event”

"Excellent organisation for the event and magnificent stewarding!!”

“Congratulations for all your effort in putting together an excellent challenge this year.  Once again it was fantastic event and I'm sure my team will be back next year.”

“Fantastic support at the change over and big help from all included assisting changing tyres - keep using just giving, so much easier than getting the money in myself!”

“What a fantastic edition of the Corrie that was!!!!! Many, many thanks for organizing such a great day and such great weather! I had an amazing time. I really had a miserable time during my first edition of the Corrie last year, but decided I had unfinished business this year and came back for more. I'm glad I did, I knocked 45 min off last year's time and came in just under 4.5 hours.”

"I just want to say that I enjoyed the experience and that the organisation and support from all was first class."

"Just a quick note to thank you for another excellent day at this year's Corrie. Please pass on all my thanks to the marshals and volunteers supporting the event and especially those people helping out at the bike transition."

"Craig, thanks so much for another great event, I loved the Corrieyairack on Saturday, it was just so well organised and supported and a really brilliant day."

"Just a quick note from me AGAIN, to say thanks to everyone who helped out at the challenge on Saturday. It was really well organised and all the helpers were a real moral boost at the water stations. It was one of the toughest events I have ever done in my life and although we were last I have to say very happy that actually I did complete it as there were times where I thought I wouldn't. - Thanks again and if you need any help next year let me know as the whole event, including the ceildh (which surprisingly I made) was fantastic and the only way I would be there again is as a helper ha ha! "

"Just contacting you to say thanks very much for Saturday - it was brilliant.  In particular, the help of the folk at the Garva Bridge transition point, and those in the physio tent (including the ladies sorting us out with drinks) was absolutely superb.  It made the whole day thoroughly enjoyable.  Thanks again"

"What a fantastic effort - again. Without doubt one of the best-organised events there is to have the honour of competing in. Many thanks for your massive effort and for a courteous and extremely helpful team at all points along the route. Big thanks also to Freddie for presenting the medals on completion. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole event, as did my wife and her team too."

"Congratulations on another hugely successful and superbly organized 'Corrie'. As a helper I was just as struck by the camaraderie as I had been 3 years ago as a participant. The atmosphere at the Changeover was really exciting, particularly when the leaders were coming through. Amazing how difficult it is to transfer somebody's race number to their back without sticking pins in yourself! Seeing it all again has made me keen to have another go at the event next year."

Cairngorm Mountain Rescue are always on hand in case of emergencies

"This is just an email to say what a superb event. Excellently organised, marshalled and watered. The encouragement and support from your marshals on the hill and on the road was fantastic; let them know it was greatly appreciated - including the local people shouting and clapping which was what got me through it - each mile meant more money for you to build on for the Centre. I'll definitely be back next year.... fitter."

"Having completed my first Corrieyairack Challenge - and I mean challenge I would now like to enter for the Highland Half Marathon! I work with people with disabilities and knowing how much they enjoy going to Badaguish was the only thing keeping me going, but I am glad I did - just! Our team were really impressed by the organisation on Saturday - well done to all. The families had a great time at Kincraig also, we had friends in the Pipe Band and doing the demonstrations - it was nice to be in home territory."

"Once again the event went well for me but this is mainly due to your efforts of tracking down Simon to repair my broken seat clamp, this was very much appreciated and saved the day, thanks for that."

A refreshment stop

"Now that I've got my breath back, I'd like to thank you for providing all of the entrants in this year's challenge with another brilliantly organised and totally unforgettable experience. You even managed to organise the weather as well"

"I just wanted to thank you for such an amazing weekend. It was my first go at the Challenge and immediately afterwards I was promising myself it'd be the last - but already I'm not so sure...! The whole weekend was extremely well organised and everyone was so helpful and friendly. Thank you very much again."

"Hope you have recovered from your weekend. This was my first 'Corrie' and it won't be my last we really enjoyed the event. Keep up the good work. "

"Thanks for a great weekend. It was my first time doing the 'Corrie' (I was a last minute substitute (so the only preparation I did was packing my bag on Friday morning!) and it was brilliant. So well organised. Well done to you all. Will be back again next year!! "
